Description

I really wanted to put this out before Halloween but I just took waaayyy too long on this. Hope you guys dig!

Update: Felt like it needed some darkening and a bit of textures to make it seem a little less empty.

The colors are gorgeous and vivid, the out-of-focus effect drawing to mind old monster movies. The characters exude personality, and the lines are as tight as can be.

I always consider composition, and I'd like to note that there's a lot of empty space in the upper right. The characters form an "L" shape which seems a little odd... in my experience it's best to encourage the eye to travel diagonally or in circular paths. I might suggest overlapping the characters, putting the "Bride" over Talbot, perhaps leaning on him for support while she yells at him (as it is, I can't quite figure out how she's standing). Speaking of which, judging by their feet I get the impression that the Bride's slightly further in the foreground than Talbot, which suggests to me that her line of sight is aimed slightly in front of him rather than at him. It's as though she should be turning to look more to her side, or behind herself.

It occurs to me that this would make a marvelous title image. If there was some kind of logo in the upper right quadrant, I think it might draw it all together marvelously. It's still a delightful picture, full of energy and personality. Good job!
